# Configuration

***

**Configuration**

All configuration lives in `config.lua`.

**Full Config**

lua

```lua
Config = {}
Config.ChatRadius   = 50.0       -- proximity range in metres
Config.AdminGroups  = { 'superadmin', 'admin', 'mod' }
Config.ExtraCommands = {
    { cmd = '/me',   desc = 'Roleplay action' },
    { cmd = '/do',   desc = 'Environment description' },
    { cmd = '/ooc',  desc = 'Out of character' },
    { cmd = '/ac',   desc = 'Admin chat' },
}
Config.DiscordBotToken = 'YOUR_BOT_TOKEN'
Config.DiscordGuildId  = 'YOUR_GUILD_ID'
```

**Options**

| Option            | Description                                                               |
| ----------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `ChatRadius` | Distance in metres that chat messages can be heard |
| `AdminGroups` | List of ESX groups that have access to admin chat and the admin tag panel |
| `ExtraCommands` | Commands shown in the chat autocomplete |
| `DiscordBotToken` | Your Discord bot token for chat logging |
| `DiscordGuildId` | Your Discord server ID for chat logging |

**Admin Groups**

By default the following groups have admin access to the tag panel:

* `superadmin`
* `admin`
* `mod`

You can add or remove groups by editing `Config.AdminGroups` in `config.lua`.

**Discord Logging**

To enable Discord logging, replace `YOUR_BOT_TOKEN` with your Discord bot token and `YOUR_GUILD_ID` with your Discord server ID. If you don't want Discord logging, leave these blank.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://quannsstudios.gitbook.io/quannsstudio-docs/chattag-chat-system/configuration.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
